Mate 8 Debloat EMUI based on honor 5x debloat script

Would it be possible to use this debloat script from Honor5x on the Mate 8? I'd assume it's disabling similar apps. The reason is, I need to install MobileIron on my phone and it will not allow me to install corporate email program if the phone is compromised (root). Even if I install a custom room and UN-root feature in SuperSu, it still identifies it as being compromised. The only time I have seen it work is on pure stock roms.
