No more notification with nylon strap

Hi,
I've bought a new nylon strap for my gear s2 classic.

It's a simple strap, but now, I don't receive notifications anymore.
I think that the watch "thinks" that it is not weared, because strap covers the back of the watch.

Am I the first one in that case?
Is there a way to resolve that?
