I know this has been done before on firetv. But the guide is old and does not work for fire stick. I have attached what I believe to be the firesticks framework. Inside the zip are 2 files for the system. SYSTEM UI_5.1.1 and SYSTEM_5.1.1 apks.
I've found inside the SYSTEM_5.1.1.xxx.apk to have files in res/values/bool.xml these strings.
<bool name="config_enableWallpaperService">false</bool>
<bool name="disable_system_wallpapers">true</bool>
My request is can someone please change those values accordingly and resign the apk so that we can try to enable wallpapers on firestick os5? Hopefully that's all I'll need since I've got the other files and module already installed and waiting. Thank you.
