Hey guys,
i want to root my HTC One M8 and install a custom ROM. I hope this will fix some performance issues and optimize the battery usage. So I started to reboot into HBOOT by holding VolDown + Power. Then i unlocked my bootloader and flashed the TWRP v2.7.0.2 but when I want to start the recovery mode (by selecting Recovery in HBOOT) the device reboots, displays the white HTC bootscreen and freeze without any error message or something. Normally rebooting the device (by holding power for 10sec) works great and I can use it as usual. I've tried a couple of different recovery modes, but none of them seems to work:
- CWM v6.26.6
- TWRP v2.7.0.2
- TWRP v2.8.9.0
- TWRP v3.0.2
- M8 UL Stock Recovery v2.22.161.6
Factory Reset from HBOOT (or from the Settings Menu) doesn't work either.
The following software is installed on my device:
- Android: 6.0.1
- HTC Sense: 7.0
- HBOOT: v3.19.0.0000
- RADIO: v1.0.U20410.1@60201
- OS: 2.11.161.1
Surprisingly I can't find anything about a stock version 2.11.161.1. The only Version I can find is 2.22.161.6. But I have installed all updates provided by androids or HTCs update service :confused::eek:
Can anyone help me to root my device or give me an advice where i can find an answer to my problem?
